The purpose of location planning is to visualise the storyboard. It gives an indication of what the finished video will look like. By visiting the location, it allows me to see if the places we have chosen to shoot at are suitable. This includes, the lighting, the availability of the rooms and the location and more. For example, if the room we wanted to shoot in wasn't available, we would have to move the shooting of the task to a different location and therefore adjust the storyboard or possibly how we approach filming. Thankfully, all of the locations we used were suitable to film in/at and we had no problem with lighting, availability of the rooms etc. The next step in our pre- production will be to consider potential cast who could star in our task.
