Planning: Casting

This is Nico Yazdi. Nico would be an appropriate choice to star in our preliminary task. He is confident and loud, which would translate well on the screen. However, he is not available to film during our shooting schedule as he is otherwise engaged.
This is Cameron Tassell. I believe he is not suitable to star in our video. He is shy and quiet, which would perhaps not engage the audience as effectively as another actor would. In addition, he is not available to film as he is busy at the time we plan to shoot.

This is Oliver Iarrobino. Oliver would be a suitable candidate for  the preliminary task. He is available to shoot his scenes when we are planning to shoot, so is an ideal choice for a starring role. He also used to be a drama student so is comfortable acting in front of others.

This is Jerin Thomas. I believe she would be willing to star in our preliminary task. She is available to appear in our film when we require her and is confident in front of the camera. Overall, she is a very strong candidate to star in one of the leading roles.

This is Joshua Leversha. Although he is free during our shooting schedule, he is very shy and awkward, which wouldn't translate well to the audience. He was reluctant to have his picture taken so would be very reluctant performing in front of a camera. In addition, he is not very focused so would not take our filming seriously.

This is Jack Gardner. He is our lead choice for one of the starring roles. He is loud and confident which are the characteristics of one of our starring roles. He is also available when we plan to shoot so is the ideal candidate.
During the casting process, we walked around finding people we thought may would be suitable to star in our preliminary task. However, not all people we took photos of are suitable for the task, for several reasons. When considering people for one of the starring roles, we have to take a number of things into account such as; their confidence, personality, characteristics and if they are available when we want to shoot. In film, casting directors must consider all of these to ensure they cast the right actor or actress for the part. They go through an extensive process to secure the right person.
